Hello visitors, welcome to my website.
 My name is Olga Grigoryeva, and I’m a professionally trained artist with vast experience, specialising in pictures and portraits made to order. On this site, you can find samples from my portfolio ranging from the last eight years.
My work mainly consists of drawing and sketching in pencil and then expressing the photographs utilising two different techniques: oil paints on a canvas or slate pencils on cardboard, you can clearly see examples of both on this site to make your choice.
My approach to every order is extremely thorough, with great emphasis placed on achieving a strong resemblance or as close enough similarity between the picture provided and the final portrait, correctly constructed composition and excellent execution of the work with the equipment at my disposal.
Recently, I’ve concentrated all my energies on pursuing more creative bespoke work. This often necessitates making detailed sketches from which the main work will be derived. I work in conjunction with you, the customer, to better serve your particular needs, as the paintings are sized and framed with the specific dimensions of the space they are meant to fill in the room.

The picture sent in can be from a digital camera, a colour photograph, or even a black-and-white photograph. All image formats are welcome. It’s also possible to change backgrounds, clothes, number of people or combine pictures.
With all due respect to the high quality of the modern photograph, a picturesque portrait has more charm and bears all the hallmarks of centuries-old traditions (the portrait can be made to either picturesque or graphic formats).
If you want to have an image of a loved one or simply as an excellent gift choice, then a portrait made to order becomes the best decision you can make. It won’t be just a “mechanical copy” of a photograph, but rather a unique stand-alone work bearing all the “warmth and feeling” of the expert brushstrokes of the artist.

*Oil on a canvas is the most difficult, durable and expensive form of portraiture, and requires from the artist skills and experience to create a refined exclusive painting.*
